Teaching

Trainees

This Practice is part of the Derbyshire GP Specialty Training Programme, which provides training for our future GPs.  These doctors spend time in general practice at various stages throughout their final 3 years of training, ranging from a 4 month placement in each of the first four years, to a 12 month placement in their final year.  The trainees are closly supervised at all times by our current partners.

Our current trainees are:

Dr Jessica Halliley (f)

Dr Kairelle Webster (f)

Dr Matthew Menhinick (m)

Dr CJ Dhesi (m)

working with us between August 2016 and December 2016

Students

At times we also have medical students from both Nottingham and Derby Medical Schools attached to the Practice to gain first hand experience of general practice.  It is very valuable experience for them to sit in during your consultation with the doctor.  However, if you would prefer them not to be present then please let the receptionist or doctor know.

We do have a leaflet on reception that explains more about students in the Practice.  Please ask for more information.
